Library Wine Dinner March 28th – Walla Walla
Library Wine Dinner March 28th – Walla Walla
Join us for an evening that explores how time shapes wine—and how terroir leaves its unmistakable signature.
This five-course dinner, thoughtfully crafted by Chef Yara Irizarry, pairs a vibrant, seasonally inspired menu with side-by-side tastings of Mercer’s current release wines alongside their library counterparts. Experience petrol and honey notes of 2012 Riesling, graceful aging of herbaceous 2018 Ode to Brothers GSM, USA Wine Rating’s ‘Wine of the Year’ 2015 Petit Verdot and our best-selling 2018 Malbec & an Orange Muscat sorbet. Guests will have a firsthand sensory experience of how vintage, age, and place come together in the glass.
The evening includes a special preview of our new 2023 Small Lot Malbec, releasing later this year. This wine sold out quickly in its previous vintage, and dinner guests will enjoy exclusive early access to purchase—well ahead of its public release.
This is not your typical winemaker dinner. Expect an invigorating menu, thoughtful pairings, and an engaging, story-driven experience. Members of the Mercer family and winemaker Ali Mayfield will be in attendance, guiding guests through the wines and sharing the story behind each vintage—how time, land, and intention define what ends up in your glass.
An intimate evening for those who love great food, expressive wines, and the stories that connect them.
