Kyle Cook, National Sales & Marketing Director

Kyle Cook PhotoKyle Cook has worked in luxury wine marketing since 1983, and has risen to the top of his field with an enviable track record at some of the finest companies in the industry. Kyle started his career in the restaurant industry, serving as general manager at several premium accounts, before pursuing his passion for wine as a salesman and later On-Premise Manager at Cazanove-Opici. In 1996 Kyle joined Beringer Wine Estates as an Area Manager for Metro-New York, responsible for managing over fifteen brands from four countries. He was later promoted to Regional Manager at Beringer Blass Wine Estates with seven Area Managers for New York and New Jersey under his direction, overseeing over 450 independent wines from six countries-of-origin. In 2003 he joined the Benziger Family to manage twenty-four states from Maine to Florida and as far west as Illinois. In July 2006, he was hired by the Rubicon Estate, owned by Francis Ford Coppolla, as their East Coast Sales Director. In March 2007 Kyle joined Mercer Estates as the National Sales & Marketing Director.

Born and raised in Bergen County, New Jersey, Kyle attended Rutgers University and earned a B.A. in Music Education and Vocal Music Performance, with continuing studies at Manhattan School of Music. Kyle currently oversees the national distribution and marketing program for Mercer Estates from his office in Ramsey, New Jersey. Kyle is an accomplished vocal soloist and performs with several choral associations in the tri-state area; he also enjoys coaching softball and practicing golf in his free time.
